Vladimir Propp Character Theory

Vladimir Propp suggested that every narrative has the same seven characters: The Villain, The Dispatcher, The Helper, The Princess/ Prize, The Donor, The Hero, The False hero. This was mostly based on Russian folk tales in the 1920s. There are also multiple functions of the characters.
