A media campaign is a strategised promotion which involves the release of multi-platform content and events. Ranging from social media content to magazine articles to events. It often has specific timings and a clear aim/manifesto. This is done to achieve as much reach as possible. They communicate specific messages to a range of target audiences across timings designed to be the most effective and impactful. They can have a range of purposes such as Altering behavior and encouraging action, raising awareness for a cause or informing the audience. They are often measured by primary research into the opinions of the target audience, Listening to their interpretation of the message. Large scale research into whether the desired behavior change has taken place or whether the desired factor has altered in the intended manner.
